Corrections are genuinely welcome, particularly on the NMFC density scale. Freight classification changes on a docket schedule — NMFTA has further revisions planned — so if you spot a subprovision here that no longer matches the current classification, say so and point at the source. It will be fixed and the citation updated.

This site cannot quote your freight, look up an NMFC item number for a commodity, or advise on a specific shipment. For an item number, NMFTA's ClassIT+ is the authoritative tool; for a rate, talk to your carrier or broker.
